“Like many brides, we had a vision — and I had the slightly delusional idea that I could plan and organise the entire wedding myself. As planning began, it became increasingly clear that although we had plenty of ideas and a few rough plans, gaps were appearing everywhere, the admin was mounting, and suddenly we were only ten months away from the day.

Then came Emmie. From our very first call, it was clear she was the missing piece of our wedding puzzle. She took our loosely connected plans and endless vendor enquiries and somehow turned them into a clear, achievable timeline and plan. I should add that I’m probably not the easiest person to work with: I have strong ideas and a very particular aesthetic — but none of this phased Emmie in the slightest. Her ability to coordinate so many moving parts, manage timelines, and anticipate details before anyone else had even thought of them was constantly extraordinary.

If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting Emmie, she’s an infectiously kind and generous person. She’s always two steps ahead, with a rare, dry American–British sense of humour and one of the best, most heart-lifting laughs around. She makes everyone around her feel completely at ease, knowing that every detail — and any situation — is handled to perfection.

Emmie truly made every stage of our wedding weekend and the months leading up to it immeasurably better. The day was an absolute dream — one we’ll cherish for decades — and while we had many wonderful people to thank, truly none more than Emmie.”
